At The Cockerel Café & Bakery, we believe cake should always be fresh, homemade, and full of flavour. That’s why we bake all our cakes on-site each morning, using the best ingredients. 

We bake a wide selection of beautiful cakes everyday and our counter is always full of favourites like chocolate cake with silky ganache, classic Victoria sponge, Bakewell tarts, heavenly walnut cake, gooey brownies, light-as-air scones, millionaire’s shortbread, cupcakes and our ever-popular carrot cake.

Our cakes are made to be enjoyed with a good cup of tea or one of our barista coffees so whether you’re stopping in after a walk, catching up with friends or family, or just fancy coming in on your own for a chat then we will be pleased to see you.
