We are delighted to welcome you to The Cockerel Café & Bar, a friendly, independent café and restaurant based in the heart of Peasmarsh, East Sussex, just a short drive from Rye. Whether you're joining us for breakfast, lunch, coffee with freinds or a relaxed drink, you'll always recieve a warm welcome.

 

We're open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am - 3pm, serving breakfast until 12pm followed by our lunch menu from 12pm-2.30pm. On Sunday's we're open from 9am - 4pm, including for our popular Sunday carvery. We are closed on Mondays. 

 

Join us for breakfast between 9am and 12pm, where we serve a range of hearty English breakfasts, breakfast sandwiches, light bites, pastries and croissants as well as a selection of barista style coffee's and Tea's. You are welcome to dine in our lovely refurbished restaurant or order and take-away.

 

From 12pm - 2.30pm, we serve a comprehensive lunch menu from Scampi & Chips, Burgers and Ham & Eggs to Jacket Potatoes, Paninis', Soup and Sandwiches. We also cater for children and those with smaller appetites. 

 

Alongside our café and restaurant, we're also a licesnsed bar, with a selection of drinks to enjoy with your meal or when catching up with friends. 

 

We have seating inside for 60 and a lovely outdoor patio for when the sun is shining. We tend to get busy, so recommend you reserve a table for lunch during the week and on Saturdays. ​

 

We're just a stones throw from Rye and Camber Sands, as well as the neighbouring villages of Beckley and Northiam. ​
